Product design

Externally, this robot vacuum cleaner looks very elegant and attractive. In its manufacture, only the most modern technologies were involved, the existing functions were largely modernized. The product will fit perfectly into the interior of the room. The thickness of the case is only 6 cm, so it will easily penetrate under sofas, chairs and other hard-to-reach places where cleaning is not done as often as we would like.

The case itself is made of high quality plastic. In total there are two color options for the vacuum cleaner - gold and red. The charging station of the model is made in approximately the same spirit.

Before testing (a cat lives in the apartment), we didn’t purge the cat’s rug for a long time — a rather large amount of hair was accumulated there. The robot was able to identify the rug as the dirtiest part of the room and first went there. His cleaning lasted about 12 minutes, but after the device went further around the room, we checked the condition of the mat. Even under a magnifying glass, we could not find a single hair.

In all, the robot has four basic modes of operation:

• Automatic - in this case, the model independently makes a route for itself and moves strictly along it;

The navigation system is stable and of high quality, therefore, during testing, we have never encountered the fact that the vacuum cleaner is not able to cope with any obstacle - this makes the gadget even more effective.

Another original point associated with this device is the presence of a modern echo-sounding system, thanks to which the vacuum cleaner is able to lay in its memory exactly where the furniture is located and various kinds of obstacles. At each subsequent cleaning, he will recall this information from his memory and confidently avoid obstacles. He is around the perimeter is equipped with a huge variety of sensors and indicators. Many of them are aimed specifically at the floor surface, so that the vacuum cleaner can determine how much it is dirty, and, in accordance with the data obtained, choose the most suitable mode of operation.

Test results

Of course, we could not get past this gadget without fully recognizing all its capabilities. First of all, a fairly wide range of cleverPANDA i5 caught our eye - not every robot vacuum cleaner boasts a similar fact. Batteries even go to the remote control, there are two soft microfiber cloths designed specifically for wet cleaning. There is a reliable dust filter. Another significant advantage is the exact movement around the perimeter of the room, which allows you to collect almost all of the large garbage. Of course, one cannot fail to note the presence of a huge number of cameras, sensors, there is also an application for the phone.

There are also drawbacks - there is no getting away from them, but there are not too many of them. With the right approach to this device, you can build its work so that they will be completely invisible. In automatic mode, it does not always reach the end of the room, but this is offset by the launch of the perimeter movement mode immediately after the completion of the main cleaning.

Overall dimensions happen that does not allow him to call on a soft mat, so you have to install it there manually.

Although the unit is not too high, it may not fit under low-set sofas and other furniture. It does not notice such an object as an obstacle. From the outside, it looks very funny, but the surface under the furniture remains not cleaned.

After wet cleaning, you can find a small wet trace behind the vacuum cleaner, which is not so critical for such a surface as a laminate.
